I am Alex, the current ESC volunteer at the AFS Latvija office.
Originally I am from Denmark. I moved here in July 2020, and moving here is already one of the best decisions i have made in my life.
I have been with AFS for more than 7 years, but working with AFS Latvija is still a life-changing experience. Working here gives you experience working with skills you didn’t even know you had, gives you the space to learn, earn and develop, and furthermore, you have just the best colleagues supporting you!
I am very happy to have this experience. Latvija is such an incredible country with the most amazing heartwarming people. I fell in love immediately, and I am certain, that this year is going to be a year, that I wouldn’t be without. I already feel like a brand new person. So much more appreciative, happy, and determined to make this world a better place.
